With all this new technology hitting the market, what does this all mean for the hardcore gamer? I have heard many core gamers complain about all this motion control gaming when, in reality, they should be rejoicing. For all that you who don’t know about Kinect (shame on you if you really don’t), Kinect is Microsoft’s new motion sensing camera. Some examples of this working would be a person playing baseball with a virtual bat. The plan for this device is to eliminate holding a controller. Where am I going with this you ask? Well, with 3D technology just around the corner, Kinect can implement 3D into you holding a virtual 3D controller. If Microsoft actually does this it will seem like you are holding either a gun for shooters, a bat or a ball for sports games, there are millions of possibilities. What do you think? There has been some rumors going around about a slim 360 to be announced at E3, but microsoft completely surprised us on this one. Microsoft did not announce a slim 360 or even a new Xbox alltogether. They have announced a new 360. “That is a slim 360, retard,” you say? No, in fact is is not. The all new Xbox has been said to be whisper quiet with a 256 GB hard drive, Kinect ready and it has built in Wi Fi. For those of you who do not know, Kinect is the new name for Natal, Microsoft’s motion reading device. This new Xbox looks very sleek and beautiful. Let’s just hope that the price point is reasonable as well.
